Her decade-long personal mission is epitomized by her role as a vital connector, linking contractors and job seekers in the region with fulfilling opportunities throughout the city. Leading Conrad Builds, Katrina exemplifies commitment through her initiative to gather a diverse group of skilled workers from various trades. Her goal is resolute: "By encouraging individuals to invest in themselves and earn at least one certification annually, I believe we can pave the way to generational wealth in our communities." Her diverse professional background, spanning multiple sectors, complements her innate people skills, enriching her rapport and empathy with those she aids. This extensive experience fuels her passion to drive meaningful change and make a lasting impact in her community. With more than ten years of direct collaboration with high-profile contractors, Ms. Conrad is part of a team of workforce development experts, certified in OSHA outreach training and American Red Cross programs. In her prestigious role as Vice Chair of the BLOC, and holding certificates from Cornell University in Diversity & Inclusion and Cambridge College in Business Development, Katrina's influence and reach are vast. Her previous tenure at the Madison Park Development Corporation as the Workforce Development Director was transformative. There, she spearheaded the MPDC’s Workforce Development Program and the Minority and Women Small Business Relief Fund. Currently, as the Program Director of WORC², a prominent construction training facility in Roxbury, MA, she continues to be a beacon of support and progress in the community. Katrina Conrad remains a steadfast advocate for empowerment, development, and advancement, particularly for minority and low-income workers in Boston. She is unwavering in her pursuit of a more equitable and prosperous future for all.
